Klang City Rejuvenation (KCR) Project
Klang City Rejuvenation (KCR) Project is a project spearheaded by Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCCI) with Klang Indian Chamber of Commerce and Selangor Malay Chamber of Commerce as project partners.
The KCR Team
The Klang City Rejuvenation (KCR) team, comprising members from Think City, the Klang Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Klang Indian Chambers of Commerce, the Selangor Malay Chambers of Commerce and in partnership with the Klang Municipal Council (MPK), will be collecting basic information from businesses, households, government organisations, non-for-profits and education institutions and will seek the community’s views on how the area can be improved.
Our focus areas are mainly within the financial and heritage districts that flank the Klang River.
Think City is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad that is funded by Yayasan Hasanah that seeks to create more liveable and sustainable cities in Malaysia.
It was established in 2009 to rejuvenate the Unesco heritage core of George Town, Penang and has since expanded its work to Butterworth, Kuala Lumpur and most recently Johor Baru.
